International transfers
International transfers are sending or receiving funds from a WAEMU country or the rest of the world on behalf of a client on a nostro account (foreign currency account opened by CBI on the books of a foreign correspond bank).
- Ability to transfer funds to their account or that of their partner in all countries through the network of correspondents
- Speed, reliability and wide coverage of the Swift network
- Possibility of choosing your own national or foreign correspondents
- Target: all types of customers
- Any transfer to countries outside the UEMOA zone of an amount greater than 500,000 CFA francs must be justified.
- Domiciliation with approved intermediaries of resident merchandise import operations for any amount exceeding 500,000 CFA francs
- Transfers (sending and receiving) electronically
- Complete the exchange authorization and transfer order form
- Invoice or commercial contract between the importer and the exporter
- Intention to import or export
